Peaks Island News announces matching grant
In the final two months of 2025, your support for the Peaks Island News will matter more
than ever. During November and December, the Peaks Island News has a special
opportunity to receive matching funds to double any donation that you make to support
our island’s newspaper. Your $50 donation becomes $100, $100 becomes $200,
through a program called NewsMatch, a national matching-gift campaign supporting
independent, nonprofit newsrooms like ours.
Your support helps us keep our reporting free and accessible to all islanders. And as a
